VanWest Marketing Staff Announcements

Good morning and welcome to 2010! The holidays are over and it’s back to work in the VanWest marketing department; I have a few brief but very important announcements today from the VanWest marketing office.

As some of you might already know, Jorge Arias, marketing coordinator at VanWest College, will be leaving Vancouver and moving to Guadalajara soon. While we are sad to see him go, we are very pleased that Jorge will be staying on staff and working full-time for VanWest College from Mexico! Jorge’s last day at VanWest Vancouver will be January 15 and he will resume working in Mexico on February 1st. Jorge’s goal in Mexico will be to support our Latin American agents with student recruitment and marketing strategies. Jorge can still be reached any time at jorge[at]vanwest.com. We wish him lots of sunshine & good luck for the coming year!

The marketing department looks forward to welcoming another intern and part-time staffer, Jamie Moon. Jamie will be available to assist students and agents as needed and will provide marketing support in general. Jamie starts working the week of January 4th. Welcome aboard!

And as always, Chiaki and I continue to work hard to promote the school and support our students and agents as much as possible. For the latest VanWest updates and info from us, please visit the VanWest Facebook page and become a fan!

Happy New Year, everyone! Let’s look forward to a productive 2010!
