Light shows in English Bay!

Today, I want to introduce you to the light shows in English Bay. These light shows are very fantastic! They are really part of an art exhibit, made of 20 robotic searchlights. This mega-scale art exhibit puts out 200,000 watts of power from dusk until dawn. That’s a lot of light! The lights are visible from almost a 10-mile radius and stretch out over 300,000 square feet of night sky.

The most wonderful point is we can create our own light sculpture with the searchlights. It’s done on an interactive website. You just have to visit the site and decide how the lights should move. Then you can watch it in real time. If you’re not in Vancouver, you can watch it on the website. Check it out at http://vectorialvancouver.net

Maybe we can see my own light sculpture over English Bay!!

Have a happy day!! Chiaki
