On January 7th & 28th, 2011 VanWest College will hold mock IELTS exams for students in Vancouver.  Experience the listening, reading, writing and speaking components of the IELTS exam with an expert instructor. Review the exam to find strengths and weaknesses and let VanWest help you achieve your IELTS goals!

IELTS, the International English Language Testing System, is a universally recognised English proficiency qualification that is accepted by most English-speaking universities in the world.  If you or your students are  considering taking an under-graduate or graduate program at a Canadian university, then you will likely have  to take an IELTS or TOEFL exam.

VanWest College‘s IELTS program is offered at 15, 21 or 27 hours / week and students can start weekly.  Typically students study 4, 8 or 12 weeks in this program.  Students who prefer an intensive program often register for VanWest College’s Accelerated IELTS Program which includes afternoon electives plus one-on-one programming focusing on particular areas of the English language where the student needs extra work.
